WOW! We're TWO!!!

We had the girls birthday party at our house this past Saturday. It was an Elmo themed party because the girls love the Elmo sing-alongs that we have. We kept the party a little smaller this year and only invited grandparents and godparents. The weather was really nice, so the kids were able to play outside on their new swing set. Our neighbors let us borrow their bouncy house and Uncle Seth bought the girls one of their own, so they had lots of fun jumping around:)! Briella and Ciara seemed to love the excitement of blowing our their candles, eating their cake, and opening their presents. Aliya, on the other hand, didn't seem to like all the attention as much. The girls received a ton of wonderful gifts including tricycles, self-portraits (painted by their 5yr. old cousin Halle), a personalized book recording (Read by Halle), building blocks, a basketball hoop, and tons of clothes. On Sunday, their actually birthday, we went out for brunch with Grandma and Grandpa Goettl and then they spent the rest of the day enjoying their new toys. The girls' Auntie Nicole put together a memory DVD for us with pictures from the first two years and It's quite emotional to see how far our little blessings have come!
