We took the girls to my parents farm to pick apples a few weeks ago. The trees were at the perfect height for them to pick their own apples. They had so much fun picking the apples that we ended up with a gallon pail full! We also took home pumpkins, corn, gourds, squash, watermelon and a few grapes (unfourtunately the late spring frost ended up freezing many of Papa Dave's grape vines...bummer, because they are sooooo delicious!)
The girls have been loving the wonderful October weather! I have pictures of them playing in the snow around this time last year. What a difference! Working half days enables me to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather with them!
