Pumpkin Patches and Pumpkin Carving

Josh and I had Thursday and Friday off of school last week, so we ventured out to a couple different pumpkin patches. The girls had a blast especially at Mommsen's Patch in Rice Lake, because we went with their cousins Halle and Sydnie. Getting to hold baby bunnies and kitties was a highlight for the girls (see how serious Briella was while holding her bunny below:). They also enjoyed the straw tunnels and corn mazes. This weekend we carved pumpkins! The girls got to choose which pumpkin they wanted and what they wanted the face to look like. They all said they wanted a happy pumpkin. Briella and Ciara enjoyed digging the insides of their pumpkins out, but Aliya wanted nothing to do with it!:) After we finished carving the pumpkins we made pumpkin pie and toasted some of the seeds.
